Have you ever watched Austin Powers and wondered if you can vacation at some resort getaways resembling the movie? Apparently the Caesars Pocono Resorts seems to be stuck in a time warp. The 70’s love theme is everywhere as the resorts were built from the 50’s through the 70’s. Travelers to this time warped mecca are always welcome even though the three resorts that make up the Caesars Pocono Resorts are up for sale. The resort accommodates honeymooners, couples celebrating anniversaries, parents needing some alone time from the kids, and weekend getaway lovers.

The resort is definitely a playground for grownups. Most of the resort’s visitors are from neighboring New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The clientele varies in age and ethnicity. Vacationers have a lot of options when it comes to having fun at the resort including archery, rowboats, and even sex toys at the resort gift shop.

With all inclusive resorts declining in popularity around the world Caesars Pocono Resorts is one of the few to still offer all inclusive amenities including meals and most activities. Some of the activities offered are horseback riding, getting your pictures taken, fishing, paddleboat, tennis, and basketball. If all of these seems like too much work you can lounge at the pool and drink the the house specialty drink, Passion Potion. Additional cost events for those seeking adventure include whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and stock car racing.

Guests have many options to choose from when selecting their room. There are the Lakeside Villas, Garden of Eden Apple and Diana’s Oasis rooms. At Caesars Pocono Resorts the most desired rooms has to be the Champagne Suites by Cleopatra. As you enter the first floor you will be welcomed to Egyptian-theme wallpaper, red carpeting, ’70s themed furniture and fireplace. The real kicker that is going to make your day is the 7-foot champagne glass with a bowl that seats two people. Up stairs is the glassed room housing a heart shaped pool complemented by massage table and sauna. As you go up to the next floor you will enter the bathroom that leads to the top of the champagne glass seen on the first floor. Next door is the bedroom with overhead mirror and lighted twinkling stars. The room also has a magnificent view of the pool outside. The entrance of the first floor all the way up to the bedroom definitely sets the mood for your couples resort getaway.
