Nestled in the heart of the Las Vegas strip among all the other luxury resort getaways sits The Bellagio. If you haven’t been to Las Vegas you would have at least heard or read about the luxury casino in the past ten year of its existence. Being featured in the movie Ocean’s Eleven only made it one of the top vacation spots.

What sets The Bellagio apart from the other mega luxury casinos on the strip is the immediate attention to the classical elegance of its design. The Fountains of Bellagio is world renowned for its choreographed water ballet to classical and popular American music. Some have awarded the fountain as the best free show in Vegas. Its definitely worth checking out every time you’re visiting Vegas.

Decorating the resort with colors and fragrance is its own conservatory. The colorful flowers are changed frequently throughout the year to match the season. Guests have the option to reserve a room at the newly built Spa Tower that is situated in walking distance to the resort’s gym, pool, and spa.

Entertainment at The Bellagio is just as important as the other refinements we’ve come to expect from the resort. Cirque du Soleil have their exclusive “O” circus show at the resort. The show is a unique modern interpretation of what we used to know as circus. The traditional circus three rings and animals are absent. Instead the show focuses on the acrobatic talents of its performers and synchronized music.

The resort casino also features six pools so you can refresh your self before immersing in shopping and gaming. For the pool lovers, two of them are heated year round and for the artsy, two other pools have fountains of their own. The resort health club is available to burn off some calories before the vacation is done. There is a daily use fee but having access to top of the line gym equipment and waiting attendants at your beck and call makes the cost bearable. As with any resort, the vacation is not complete without a visit to the spa. Expect nothing less but the full range of spa services to ease away your stress and what can be more stressful than carrying around your gambling winnings or shopping all day on tired feet.

Speaking of shopping the resort has its own designated shopping area called Via Bellagio featuring luxury brands such as Fendi, Gucci, and Dior. Its not a true vacation unless you take a piece of Vegas back home. Dine at the fine restaurants within the resort after a long day of shopping and gambling. They offer quick eats to the most elegant atmospheres of Italian epicurean experience.

So the next time when you are in Las Vegas, think of The Bellagio as your next resort getaway.
